Gabes, good thought for us all. I get so impatient when I'm not well, and nature takes its own sweet time. Thanks for the reminder.

Yep, Mother Nature does it right, and by not rushing things, she does it right the first time.

Thanks for sharing,

Gabes,

That's over 11 acres, which makes it a mighty big garden. I'd hate to have to take care of a garden that large.

Oh, the galahs. I was just amazed the first time I saw them just walking around like pigeons in a park. I can't believe the gorgeous birds you see every day! Cockatoos, parrots, oh my. Hope we make another trip to Australia someday, but I doubt it... :-(

Tex
thats the awesome part- it is all maintained by Toowoomba council!!
i get a fantastic garden every season - no cost! no labour!

Kathy
the park is full of birds... the cheeky buggers hide in the trees and make me work to get a photo!
the other morning a couple of the parrots were playing chase and teasing the magpies.

Great pictures Gabes,

I agree with Joe- I can see my ice covered driveway from the kitchen window and I could use a little color about now. I miss having the windows open and hearing the birds. I have a small greenhouse area in my basement where my cats and I hang out, haha. Down there I have geraniums and hybiscus flowering..... keeps me hopeful for spring!
