hi again

Post by Alice »

Hi all,

I've been lurking some but am still too busy with family health problems to really get involved much yet.

My sister is suffering caregiver burn-out and we are thinking of moving my dad down here. I've visited 5 facilities and have another one to check out today.

My thoughts on the "other board" - let them be and don't get involved
in playing games. Keep this board locked.

I'm fine - still gf, of course (and baking bread again!) - had to stop baking
for 5 months when I was back and forth to Mn. so much.

Barb - best wishes for Lou and take care of you  !

Love,
Alice

Mornin' Alice!

What a pleasant way to start the day......seeing your post.

I remember how exhausting it was to try to find the best long-term care placement for my mom. You can't be too careful.

You must be a champion bread-baker by now! I still laugh when I think of your initial attempts.

I hope you find a good place for your dad soon. Looking forward to your posts whenever you have a chance to logon.

Love,

Polly

Hi Alice,

Boy am I happy to see you over here. I can just smell the bread now. Wish we were headed Ohio way but instead will get to see the not-so-wee one in England. He is 5 1/2 months old and is 35 1/2" tall and almost 30 lbs. A big one to say the least.

Love, Maggie
