Terri,
Thanks for the inspiring post! And good luck with the surgery. Be sure to keep them ovaries! My mom got them out AFTER menopause during a TVH, and it has become one of the biggest regrets of her life. She later learned ovaries make testosterone and other hormones after menopause that help with mood, sex drive, etc, so they are never useless.

@Zizzle....thank you! Yes, I do get to keep my ovaries....yay!! Doctor mentioned something about how it's important to have them at least until I'm 65 and that's a long way from now. The less they cut out of me the better.

@Gloria....thank you so much! Staying strict with the diet and staying positive! Thanks to all the wonderful people on this forum.

@Monique...hope you are feeling better today! I totally pigged out last night as you know and had zero issues. Amazing! Feeling great today. Avoided a social event today that was gonna cause me some big time stress and I so happy I did. I'm so proud of my decision and my body and mind is happy for it.
