hello again
just a note to tell you I am very well!!!!! I have been off endocort for 3 months now and besides blood pressure and thyroid meds the only other thing I still take is an antihistamine daily, I took endocort for 18 months. I still watch my diet like a hawk, no gluten of course but I tolerate limated amounts of all fruit and veg, everything has to be very well cooked though, lately I have been trying small amounts of citrus as we spent the winter in Spain, no problems so far. This note is not to brag as I am only too aware I am not cured but am in complete remission at the moment and wanted anyone who is suffering as I was not to give up hope, as the forum says " YOU CAN GET YOUR LIFE BACK", my biggest concern is stress, I dont handle it at all well, particularly if it concerns my adult kids!!!! I realize there is nothing I can do about that, I am a huge worrier and sometimes they act in a stupid manner, ah well its a generation thing I suppose! Thank you to all who have helped me get this far, beleive me I would not have got better without your support and advise and no doubt I will need you again, not too soon I hope, Beni
That's great news! I felt just like you when I posted an update just a few days ago. I didn't want anyone to think I was bragging either. I just was so happy to have my life back....for now. I then got to thinking that I may have jinxed myself! But so far so good. I'm a big time worrier just like you. That's the toughest part. I'm getting back into the exercise which I think will help a lot. I hear Yoga helps as well. Just try to stay away from stressful situations if at all possible. I managed to do that this weekend and never felt better. Of course, I do still worry a lot....even about stupid things.....but so far it hasn't caused a flare.
Praying you have a nice long remission!
BTW...I need to be on a beta blocker for my heart rate but those suckers triggered my MC. And I really need to take those betas. What do you take for your blood pressure?

Hi Beni,
It's a pleasure to read such good news. I hope your remission lasts forever.
Thank you for posting such an inspiring update.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

tlras, you asked what blood pressure tablets I take, Beta Blockers didnt suit me at all, made me feel as if my arms and legs were floating and also gave me palpatations so I take ACE inhibitors, they work in a different way and co/diovan, I have no side effects from them and have had stable BP for 8 years Beni
