Enterolab - Kit Came Today~

Post by birdlover3 »

I'm so excited I can't stand it!

My Enterolab kit came today!!!! Just more information for those who haven't done this.... they only want you to ship the kit back on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday because they want to be sure it arrives the same week it's shipped. I don't want to go into tooooo gruesome of details, but there are instructions to be sure to follow so unfortunately, I won't be able to ship my kit back until Monday afternoon.

I'm doing Panels A & C.

Disappointed to wait, but happy that I am closer at finding my answer. Will keep y'all posted. Barb

I remember that feeling of excitement when the kit came. Then it's a three week wait for the results. Just keep up with your diet changes while you are waiting. Can't wait to hear about the results :)

Thanks Leah. Will let you know. RIght now I'm eating most things but just trying to keep it soft and not spicey. No cabbage, broccoli, eating soft veggies, canned fruit, no tomato chunks, no mushrooms, etc. til I find out. So far great with the Budesonide.

Ha! Great news. I sent mine back last Monday and am anxiously awaiting my results. Keep that freezer going! Glad to hear you're doing so well.

How do you collect multiple samples? Do you collect one, freeze it until the next day and add to what you have in the freezer (I know this is very gross). ;)

Yup. Gotta be careful cause you can get a cold behind if you take too long when you're going for the second and third tries!

You guys are so funny! I've never used a kit so my mind is imagining all kinds of things. How exciting to be waiting on more information. It's like finally finding an integral piece to your puzzle!

Who'd-a-thought we would be discussing something like this on the internet!!! :toilet:

Thanks for the info ...that is what I thought, but with this pricey test, I want to be sure I know what I'm doing ;)

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Now comes the time for patience, waiting for results! I sent mine back on the tenth, and keep looking for the results.
