I just returned from a business trip in a midwestern city and my company randomly put me up at a Marriott Residence Inn. The main reason I am posting was that at this location the Residence Inn will do your grocery shopping for guests for no fee just the charge of the food. I'd never heard of this service before. I had brought a lot of breakfast foods and safe gf foods so didn't need the service but it gave me a great level of comfort as I did not have a rental car.
Two dinners I ate at the Roadhouse--no problems here. I got a steak sweet pototo and broccoli. Two nights I had the mixed grill off of the Olive Garden gf menu. No problems here but one night I was kind of hungry and asked what the GF pasta was made of, ie what grain as I thought I'd have it as a side. Server did not know and manager did not know. I skipped the GF pasta.

Brandy, I just returned from a Residence Inn as well. Their breakfast worked for me. They had scrambled eggs (salsa if wanted,) hardboiled eggs, sausage, fresh melon and some potato wedges. (I didn't react to anything but I've got a pretty good tolerance to cross-contamination. )They also had oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, etc. I've stayed at about a half dozen in the last year and it has been good. Brandy, I haven't tried the mixed grill at Olive Garden but am glad to know it went well for you. That encourages me to stretch out. So far I've found dishes at Applebee's and Chili's, as well as most Chinese restaurants. It also sounds like you have made great progress and can tolerate more than you used to. I think I'm in the same stage.
Great to hear from you,
