Got Chronic Pain? Take Vitamin D.

Post by tex »

Hi All,

According to research, not only has a vitamin D deficiency been associated with chronic pain, but adequate vitamin D supplementation (plus calcium) has been shown to control the pain in over 75 % of cases.

How about that?

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Of course, hindsight is usually 20/20. Wish I had known this & taken larger doses of vitamin D instead of all the NSAID OTC medication I took before my knees were replaced.

Thanks for the information.
