Mary Jo - your test results

Post by moremuscle »

Good Morning, Mary Jo

I saw your test results in Roni's post. From what I could see it looks like you are intolerant of eggs, right? In addition to milk, gluten, and yeast. It looks to me as if more and more MCers that are being tested are intolerant of ovalbumin - I used to think it was relatively uncommon because I only knew of Lucy and I think it is Darlene, that were intolerant of eggs. Recently, there has been quite a few other members testing positive for reactions to ovalbumin.
For how long have you been on a diet free of those things and how are you doing? I noticed your comment on the bottom of your post about suspecting soy and corn also - are you suspecting those because you still have symptoms?
I don't have a problem with eggs but I react to both soy and corn. If you would like to get some help starting the elimination or testing for those I'll be happy to help you (if I can). It's not a bad idea to order the soy test from Enterolab if you are debating the soy. Personally, I don't need to test for soy as I have quite severe reactions to soy.

Please, let us know how you are doing and if we can help you in any way.

Love,
Karen
