Accupuncture success...

Post by CathyMe. »

Hi All,
Haven't posted much lately but wanted to share my success with accupuncture. I have been off all meds for several months successfully, although my 1-2 BM's had been very soft. I have had 3 accupuncture treatments and for the past 5 days, my BM have been normans! I never had them get this way even while on the Entocort and the lialda so I am cautiously thrilled. I will be having once a week treatments for the next 3 weeks and then we will re-evaluate. On a side note, I have been getting a nice energy "boost" after my treatments as well. Good stuff!

Cathe,
Wonderful news. I also go for acupuncture and believe it has helped a lot.

Happy to hear that Cathy. Acupuncture really helped me to turn the corner-- got rid of nausea and I started gaining some resilience/stamina that I just didn't seem to be able to reach before. I'm about finished with the treatments now. I started last June. But what a change! I'd go back in a heartbeat.
