My cousin came to stay with me over the weekend. I roasted a chicken on Sunday night. It came out perfect and I enjoyed some mightily. I have had C for 6 days, until today. The chicken is reminding me why I shouldn't eat it!
Well that's a shame you don't tolerate chicken! Hope your reaction is short-lived! Dragged through a key hole backwards....lol...where do you come up with these things....so funny but sorry you feel that bad!
@Leah and Deb...lol!

Kay, it could be the bananas. They do that to me too. I stay away! Rice can be binding also. You may want to switch to corn tortillas instead ( for a grain) or just start adding a different fruit or some veggies. Don't give up! :)
Thanks Leah and Lesley for encouragement to see this elimination diet out. Think I'll try apple sauce instead of banana and see what happens and then try switching rice out for corn tortillas or white potatoes ( recommended by Jean on elimination diet info.)
I do see some humor in the situation. Less than a week ago I was frantic because I had all the symptoms of CC. I was at wits end. Now I am complaining because my bowels seem to have taken a vacation. I couldn't help but laugh at the use of "Norman". Hope Norman visits soon. I miss him.
Thanks
Kay, I know Pacific Foods is gluten free. But making your own tastes better and is pretty easy to do, plus contains more nutrients if you slow cook it and use parts with bones. You get the added plus of some nice tender chicken and can add some carrots and celery to it. Seems to work pretty well for most of us.
Kay, if you have some time to make the broth, it tastes soo much better, is cheaper and you also get some chicken in the bargain. This is a very good website (http://nourishedkitchen.com/bone-broth/ ) for bone broth of all types. It is very healing for the gut--I can personally attest to that!
