It's worth a try ( with the dairy- not the bridge!)
Let us know how it goes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)

Numerous questions, etc!

Post by Margaret »

Well, thank you all for such wonderful insights into this disease!!! Seems like everyone is quite different in regards to medications, diet, weather, etc.!!! As for me, I am back on Entocort for two weeks as well as Asacol. I am really anxious to see what my Rheumatologist has to say about all of aches, pains, D, etc!! I understand diet is very important but we are all so different in regards to symptoms, already diagnosed diseases, how do you pinpoint the exact reason?

Pinpointing the main problem is easy — it's almost always due to untreated gluten sensitivity, or a sensitivity to a drug. Tracking down the secondary problems is a bit tougher. Most of us start with stool tests at EnteroLab.

This doesn't just apply to microscopic colitis — believe it or not, most (maybe all) autoimmune diseases are also associated with untreated gluten sensitivity plus other food sensitivities, or a sensitivity to a drug.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
