I am so sick
Nothing is working..........diet meds.... can't eat sleep or function. Is this my life?
Been wondering about you! I'm sorry to hear this. How bad is it? Have you done Enterolabs? I can't remember, but were you or are you on Entocort?
Sending hugs and positive thoughts your way.
I had thought you were getting better. What's happened?

Diagnosed with Lymphocytic Colitis in July, 2012 then with Celiac in November, 2012.
Hi Camie,
I'm sorry to hear that nothing is working. What meds are you taking? Some of them can cause adverse reactions for many of us.
Regarding diet, if you have any wheat flour in your kitchen, then your diet is being cross-contaminated with gluten in your own kitchen. Every time someone opens a bag of flour, the dust goes everywhere in the air, and settles out on all exposed surfaces. It's virtually impossible to avoid cross-contamination in that situation. That's often the reason why people continue to react, despite what they consider to be careful attention to diet.
We have to make serious changes in our lifestyle, and in our mindset, in order to resolve the problem. Doing what we've always done in the past, won't work — that's what caused the problem in the first place. I realize that you feel that you have done everything that you can to resolve the problem, but obviously what you've done is not working, so apparently something is still missing in your treatment plan, or something is not being done correctly.
We'll be happy to try to help you sort it all out, if you'll tell us exactly what you are eating, and what drugs and supplements you are taking. Without details, we can only guess, and guesses aren't worth much when treating MC, because it's a very unforgiving disease.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Hi,
I know it's hard, but try to think positive. You will get through this. This is not your life. You need time to heal, allow yourself to take the time you need.
The more you worry and stress about it, the more consequences you will suffer.
Keep drinking water, make sure you're not dehydrated. Even if you drink water in little sips at a time.
Please don't give up. We are all thinking about you. You are in my thoughts.
I wish you the best. Just don't give up. You can get through this!
Lots of hugs and kisses.
Julie
