about noon (his time). He is tired and extremely thirsty. He hasn't had anything to eat or drink since getting to the hospital. He still has the tube in and his throat is dry and sore because of that.
He says that he was unable to walk as far as he did yesterday - no energy. The pain medication in the IV wasn't working properly yesterday and the pain kept getting worse so he told the nurses that they had better check it!
He has never had any type of surgery and is experiencing the pain of sutures. He said they are pretty damn blame sore!
The head surgeon hadn't been in yet to see him although quite a few of the "other" docs had been in. He is anxiously awaiting news. I told him that maybe he (surgeon) would be in after office hours.
I also told him that we all were worried about him and everyone sends their love and good wishes, but the board was doing just fine. He said he sends his love to everyone and appreciates the good wishes, prayers and love being sent his way. I also told him that he was the conversation of the board today! He chuckled about that.
I also Mother-henned him a bit and told him to listen to what the doctors and nurses had to say - don't worry about the farm, the board or anything but himself and to get better!
PS: Wayne did say that they are treating him wonderfully! He sounds good although tired!

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Thanks Margie,
Does anyone know how much longer he will be in the hospital?
Thanks for the update.
Love, Kathyp

Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."
