Last year when I was so sick with chronic recurrent pericarditis he was the one that was able to wean me off of the Prednisone and help me recover with hi dose Iv vitamin c numerous supplements and low dose Naltrexone LDN. Has anyone else here used or read about LDN? I will save that discussion for another post.
There have been discussions about LDN a few times on this board in the past few years. I know of one member that was on it. I'm very interested, and want to learn if it might help with my autoimmune skin rash.

KD,

Homeopathy is widely used in France and in Europe in general and certainly not regarded as quackery. MD's regularly recommend homeopathic meds...but then again they don't have the AMA to contend with. They are territorial and they have called other modalities quackery as we all know.

Would you recommend to see a homeopath to test for allergies to specific foods? Or to alleviate symptoms relating to MC?

The link you provided didn't work for me but I read on LDN on wiki and it sounds interesting although I am not sure how it could help us.

Thanks,

Monique

Monique,
I have not had much luck with homeopathic treatment of MY MC but I seem to have a refractory case. I failed pepto, Asacol , and Endocort too!! Then I got my pericarditis and that has compounded everything!! I am surely not even close to normal!! I have always had luck with all other homeopathic treatments. It surely helped with the pericarditis and my gut is much better on a fairly restrictive diet after allergy testing. They found much more than Enterolab found. I love to keep contact with my Homeopath for all of my ills. I rarely see my PCP. Be aware it can be expensive but I have always thought "you get what you pay for."

Try the link again and if it doesn't work type it in to a google search.
