All I can say is that if that guy actually believes that such a thing as a 100 % gluten free processed product exists (anywhere in the world), then he is way too naive to be writing blogs about gluten and gluten sensitivity, because the reality of the industry obviously escapes him.

Gluten is ubiquitous. The only question is how much gluten any product contains, (totally gluten free is not even a option, in about 99.9 % of products).

Maybe, that's why he isn't the Gluten Free Dude.

I had a bowl of Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free oatmeal for the first time yesterday morning just because I am sooo sick of eggs! (I don't even eat my eggs in a healthy way. I have to scramble them and they have to be scrambled so that they bounce! If I hard-boil an egg, it has to have a practically green yolk before I won't gag on it.)

Then, I read this thread and just chuckled to myself. I do not know if it was a psychosomatic response, but starting at about 3 PM yesterday, my gut started hurting soooo badly--really hard to describe, but I am sure most if not all, know what I mean. It still hurts but not with the intensity that it did last evening. By bed time, I having gut spasms and took some Levsin. My joints were hurting as well. This AM, my whole right side (it always hurts some) was just so painful--both a muscular pain and joint pain in my right hip and both knees.

I attribute this to three possibilities:
I also tried asparagus two nights ago and it could be that it was too much roughage. It could be that I just can't eat oats OR...it could be that there was too much gluten in the oats for me. I am not going to try oats again, any time soon and depending on what Enterolab results are, maybe never.
