FP,
I may have put Dr. Dorman, or whatever his name is, on that list, based on something I read somewhere. I have not seen him, so beware, he could suck too.

My docs also suspected Lupus 8 yrs ago. High ANA (Speckled), AMSA, RF, but no other Lupus markers, just a crazy, itchy rash and sun sensitivity. Even my SED rate and CRP were normal. My autoimmunity is completely tied to my gut problems, and I know it will take a long time to heal from the inside out. My goal is to eat paleo, but I still cling to a few precious grains.

Then again, maybe there's something environmental going on here in NOVA? You got kids?

Fluffy Poodle,
I agree with Zizzle. You should rate your bad doctor. If he is with a group of docs, it would be good (if you have the energy for it) to contact the office manager and let him/her know about your "crappy" (pun intended) experience with the doctor. If he is part of a hospital owned group, contact the PR person at the hospital and follow-up with a written letter. They won't change things until they get a bunch of complaints and the people responsible for him (his handlers) should know that he is a jerk. I reported a bad group in my town and it was in the midst of feeling about as bad as I could feel. I think my anger fueled my energy level.
I hope you find someone who is better than what you've just experienced--it doesn't sound like it would take much.

Zizzle, that is so odd that you have similar issues! Lol, could be NOVA! No kids here, I don't swim in that pond. We do have two furry boys, a yorkie and a rag doll kitten. Funny enough they both have food sensitivities.

I am for sure considering writing a review for that doc, the problem is that I think he is one of the founders or partners in the group.

And thanks for the heads up on Dr Dorman. He doesn't even lis MC as one of the conditions they treat, so I don't know it it is worth it to see him. For now I am giving the diet and asacol a chance with the approval from my rheumatologist.
