OKIE DOKIE---spoke with Wayne

Post by barbaranoela »

Well he sounds so much better than yesterday---which he said YESTERDAY was a bad day for him---

Still on IV, yet the doc. said he could have something to eat~~~but no-one has come in to go over his eating routine--wondering how they will accomodate his diet??

He said they gave him a blood pressure pill--if recalling right--pressure was high, and he had a bad reaction to it--
Evidently pressure going up and down---in his condition , I gather that it is Xpected--

BUT---the surgeon(who worked on Wayne) hasnt been in to see him--I believe its due to the fact that they are waiting for the *report* on the mass---

He does have lottsa company---which is good--and he was up today and even took a shower---

He also *voiced* *now dont U all go worrying about me*!!! and I told him--*well we are worrying about U and we will till U get on your feet*
I guess, Wayne wont know anything till the biopsy report comes back~~~
Lets keep  for this gentle man~~~~

till later
luve Barbara :flyingdoveleft:

PS. :yikes: and I told him to ask for a HOT DOG!!!! he said *I wish I could have a hot-dog*!!!!

Thanks for the update on Wayne. Glad they are going to let him eat something. It will be interesting to hear about how they are going to manage to comply with his diet retrictions won't it?

I'm SO worried and anxious too.....and praying that perhaps no news yet, is good news. Fingers crossed in Alaska!

Love you all.

Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."

Thanks for the update, I was wondering how it was going for Wayne. Darn it all, he was having so much fun trying the new foods out too. I am glad that you called him again. I just don't like the sounds of this at all.

Gentle hugs
for Barb and for Wayne

Barbara,

Thanks for the update and I also have to say - he is on the top of my prayer list and I am worried until I hear that the mass is fine.

I think we all will be worried until we hear the results of the biopsy. He sounds to be in good spirits though & that's a good sign.

Love

Don't worry???????? Yea RIGHT!!!

Thanks for the update. I wish he would find something out so we can go forward...... I'm sure he's wishing the same thing. The not knowing is the hardest part on everyone.

Wayne told me the other day (and I forgot to let everyone know) that he was having problems with his BP - up and down. He said he has never had any problem with it before. Mmmmmmmm? Probably the shock to his body having the surgery and the seriousness of the procedure.

Hope the flowers cheer him up - I'm glad he has plenty of visitors - I was worried he was going through this alone.

Thanks for the update on Wayne; Margie is right, the not knowing is always very difficult.

Fingers crossed in South Carolina!

Pathology reports generally take a while, so I suppose that's the hold-up.

Sure seems as though he's getting around well, taking a shower, and all. I'll just betcha the shower felt good, too. Hopefully, that BP will return to normal soon.

Guess his brother will be sure to bring him some warmer clothing and wraps to wear home when he's discharged as it's going to be cold in his part of the country from now til then -- nothing like when he was admitted. Nuttin' between there and the North Pole but a barrrbed wire fence.

Wow, when you Canadians answer our request for some colder weather, you don't mess around! Thanks, just the same.

Yours, Luce

OMG! I have got to stop by more often. I knew Wayne hadn't been feeling well but had no idea he had gotten worse and in the hospital. My goodness, adding him to my prayer list immediately. Poor guy.....I sure hope he is up and about soon. Bless his Texas heart!

Hugs
