Hi Linda,

I'm sure you are reeling after getting these results. I know I was when I received mine. The antigenic foods testing wasn't available then, so I'm not as familiar with those results. I believe that those with a 3+ should be avoided completely, 2+ should be eaten sparingly, and 1+ are OK. Hopefully someone else will clarify what these numbers mean.

Your results look fairly similar to Lesley's and somewhat similar to mine. Fortunately for you (and for her), you're able to eat potatoes. Potatoes can be eaten in a variety of ways and can be very filling. If you can eat cashews, you can make mock sour cream, as I recall. Many of us make muffins using different nut flours.

You are still pretty new to having MC and probably are still adjusting to the idea that you need to give up some/many of your favorite foods. It does get easier over time, especially when you begin to see results.

Like you, I cannot eat gluten, eggs, dairy, soy, rice, beef, tuna, chicken, or oats. For meats, I eat turkey, lamb and pork. I can't eat fish; perhaps you can.

Here are the meals I eat accomodating the above restrictions plus many more. Hopefully this will give you some ideas.

BREAKFAST
Corn Chex with almond milk
Waffle or pancake with maple syrup and homemade turkey sausage
polenta with maple syrup and pork sausage

LUNCH
lamb with homemade "mayonnaise" on corn tortillas
pork with avocado on corn tortillas
turkey soup with corn grits and asparagus, almond muffin

SNACK
slice washed, dried mango

DINNER
turkey with gravy, asparagus, almond muffin
lamb with gravy, cauliflower, brown sugar muffin
pork with corn noodles and gravy, corn muffin with mango jelly

SNACK
slice washed, dried mango

Hopefully others will come along with more suggestions. You might PM Lesley to see what she eats since your results are so similar.

Good Luck!

Gloria

Thanks, Gloria, for all your suggestions. I appreciate your help.
Tonight is turkey and I got a pork tenderloin at the store. We'll see what happens since these are not meat I eat regularly.
I did find corn tortillas without any icky 'gums' at Trader Joe's. I also found Hemp protein powder (vegan)....anyone try it before?

I wish I knew what causes my system get so gassy in the evenings. I'm not having the D as much as being uncomfortable from the gas and rolling intestines in the evenings and through the night....suggestions?

Linda
