Yep, the Good Ol' Boys Club is still in full control in the medical game, and that isn't likely to change anytime soon if they have anything to say about it. They make sure that Dr. Fine's attempts to publish his work are always refused when he submits them to peer-reviewed medical journals. That way they can continue to claim that his lack of publication makes his work unproven. They're really a nice bunch, and I have all the respect in the world for their integrity. NOT!
My main hope is that when the day of reckoning eventually arrives, and they are forced to eat crow because of their shenanigans, they will choke on it.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

U of Chicago have pat answers "the medical community....blah blah blah....research is still going on...blah blah blah". It's really a shame. When I stopped my Budesonide I was told "there is no guarantee this won't happen again". Well, no, because they are not acknowledging that food has anything to do with it. "you don't have Celiac disease per tests". huh?
Diagnosed with Collagenous Colitis November 2012.
