Tam, I don't have much to add other than I am on Dexilant. Early on in my BIG flare that resulted in the diagnosis, etc. I was prescribed Dexilant because I had erosion and gastritis that could be seen when I had an endoscope. I had nausea that was absolutely crippling in it's intensity. I've tried twice before to get off of Dexilant but my nausea wasn't well managed and I wasn't in remission. I believe I can now get off of it and be fine. I will titrate slowly. The only good thing about Dexilant is that the capsule can be opened and the contents can be ingested another way-- so I can tritate by simply emptying the capsule some. And there's always an H2 antagonist and better alternatives if needed. But i"m really not very worried at this time.
