FWIW, my good friend had a vaginal hysterectomy due to uncontrolled bleeding issues (keeping her ovaries) around age 46. She became gluten intolerant within weeks of the surgery. She had other autoimmune issues prior (Hashimoto's, Chronic Fatigue), but never experienced overt reactions to gluten until then, and she's very sensitiive now.

Hi Conchetta,
I took HRT tablets for menopausal symptoms (forget the brand) for a while before realising they were causing a flare that just keep getting worse. It took about nine months before the symptoms even started. I went off HRT and the flare resolved. Tried the patches and the flare started again and stayed around for the several months I was on the patches. Stopped the patches and haven't had a real flare since. Still have the hot flashes though.
My doc said they though I would react the same to bioidentical hormones -which are much harder to get hold of in my part of the world anyway, so I never tried them.
We are all different, and just because I had problems does not mean you will. I never tried Entocort.
Hope you have good luck and wishing you a rapid recovery.
