Update!

Post by christinakay »

I was diagnosed with CC in December 2012.Immediately I took gluten, dairy, and soy out of my diet.(after Enterolab testing also took out eggs) Started on entocort , followed a very limited diet. Ate chicken, beef, pork, fish and sometimes potatoes or gluten free bread . I have tapered my entocort dosage from 9mg daily and am now alternating 6mg for 1 day and then 3mg for 2 days. I am doing quite well having normans regularly. I have been able to add an occasional small salad into my diet! Yea! I hope to be on 3mg every other or every 2 days by June. I am starting to test more foods to see what I can tolerate There is light at the end of the tunnel!!!

I read this forum daily, what a lifesaver! Thanks everyone for your great advice and ideas!

Hi Christina,

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
