Hi, When, I feel hungry I will have 8 ounces of water and that satisfies the hunger pains. I try to drink at least 8-8ozs of water a day. Jon

Thanks Jon

That's one thing I have always been good with and that's my water. I have 64oz daily.

Hi Joanne - I think the others are right in that you may not necessarily have to cut out all carbs, but may have to cut back and try one at a time to see which one or ones give you trouble. I recently found an easy chicken recipe and love my chicken with rice and have been having it a lot for a few weeks. I have never consumed this much rice since having MC, but usually rotated between sweet potatoes, rarely white potatoes and rice maybe once every couple of weeks. My problem with D increased during the time I was eating rice daily, so now I am switching to sweet potato on some days and find something else to replace the rice for now. At a later time, I will try to reintroduce rice to see if it does give me problems again, but only when things get back to a more normal state. For my breakfast most of the week, I eat a hard boiled egg, banana and rice cake with almond butter, on the other days I will have corn chex with coconut milk and have applesauce. Like everyone has said, we are all different on what we can or cannot tolerate.

Leah - thank you for the recommendation of Estrotone for peri or post menopausal symptoms. I have had hot flashes for over 10 years, starting out at every 30 minutes 24/7. They are no longer every 30 minutes, but are still very frequent. I have never taken HRT, and may just check this one out to see if I get any relief.

Hope you are finding some improvement soon Joanne.
