supplements

Post by ldubois7 »

Hi all!

I am switching from my whole food nutrients to Pure Encapsulations because Pure Encapsulations are gluten & soy & dairy free supplements.

What do I need besides digestive enzymes and a multivitamin to stay healthy with a diet of no fruit , mushy veggies, & protein as we need to do for our MC until remission. I do take a vitamin D and turmeric capsule daily, too.

Thanks!
Linda :)

Linda, D, B-12, flax oil, fish oil. I was taking others before I was diagnosed, but I found the less supplements I took afterwards, the better.

You could go crazy with supplements. We all seem t have some that we take that are similar ( fish oil, D, Bs...) and then some of us take many others. Other then those,I take extra C, magnesium, and selenium ( thyroid). I also drink a "green drink" for antioxidents.

It's something I order on line called " Catie's organic gluten free greens". it's a powder that I just mix with water and chug down. It's like getting 7 servings of greens :)

Leah, sounds delightful! But healthy. I will look into it. Thanks.

I can't say I love the taste, but I drink it down like it's my medicine. You can make it taste better ny adding some fruit juice, but I don't do well with juices.
