Is this the newsletter group?
Hello everyone! I was diagnosed almost 13 years ago. I used to receive a newsletter from a wonderful group that Dr Fine would follow and sometimes respond to. I lost track of the group when my computer crashed, and then I had to change email addresses, and wondered if anyone here knows what I'm talking about? At that time, we were a very small group, and I was the "young pup" because I was only 32, while most members were 55 or older. I am now 45. I have searched and searched for the wonderful woman who started that newsletter. If no one knows what I am talking about, I'm still happy to have found this group!
Hi Jeanne,
Welcome to our internet family. You are referring to Judy Malinowski's MC/CC Club. Judy started that listserve back in August of 1995, and continued it until February, 2003. I believe that Judy stopped publishing that newsletter back on February 23, 2003, so that she could devote more of her time to writing about her passion, scuba diving. After that, one of the members there, Sally Read, founded a discussion board in order to provide a "meeting place" for the people in that group. When Sally's board began to have problems, some of us who were members of her board created this discussion board, and we will have been here 8 years on May 21st.
You can find information on Judy's MC/CC Club, and read the original newsletters, by clicking on the link at the very top of this page, where it says "Go to Home Page". When that page opens, scroll down the left side, to where it says "Historical Information", and follow the directions below the link there. The link will take you to a page where you can select and read archives of her newsletters. If you have any problems accessing those newsletter, please let me know.
Also on the Home Page, below the information about Judy Malinowski's MC/CC Club, you can read some of the information about Sally's board, and view a few remaining discussions that have been archived from that board. Unfortunately, most of them have been lost.
A few of the members of Judy's MC/CC Club, and Sally's discussion board, still post here regularly, and you will probably recognize them. I'm sure that they will be very happy to renew acquaintances. Again, welcome aboard, and please feel free to ask anything.
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

HI Jeannie,
I remember you back from the old board and I guess you were one of the first "young pups" but since that time a lot more young people are being diagnosed. Great to see you back here.
Thanks Tex for the quick response and was sure it was Judy's Newsletter.
Love, Maggie
