Has anyone had trouble with foods that have been reheated?
I don't know if there is any validity in this thought, but when I eat fresh cooked meat I tolerate it better than when it's reheated. I realize this could be a histamine issue, but even if I freeze a freshly cooked meat, and reheat it a week later, I have a reaction to it.
Anyone else have this issue?

I can't say I have had this problem. I batch cook and freeze portions and that way I always have ready meals that I know are completely safe! That said we have had this discussion at work - not MC related - and some of my colleagues do not like frozen food at all! There may be something in it but as I say I don't feel it has been an issue for me!

there are some foods that create high histamines when re-heated (chicken is one of them)
I find that my stew which is minced meat (mix of lamb, beef, pork) it freezes and reheats fine.
I avoid pre cooking chicken and eating it cold/reheating it due to the increase histamines
the other sucky part, we are all different, although there is a list of foods that can be high histamine, what one person reacts to maybe ok for another.
Keep a food/reaction journal and figure out what works for you.

Gabes...That might explain the reaction to the turkey, but now that I look in my journal, it didn't happen with my venison stew. I guess I just have to be careful and consider which meats I get a reaction to.
