I hope this isn't bad luck to share the bride-to-be with my friends prior to the wedding but I couldn't resist. Jordan is the little "princess" in the picture.
We spent yesterday looking for a dress for Trisha and Jordan. Trisha tried on one dress and we were done! She knew what she wanted and they found the perfect dress! They have set June 24th as the big day!

Thanks everyone! Sorry........she's wearing the white one with a tierra so she can be a little princess! She's in that stage right now. She just wanted to wear the hat for awhile! She's also into hats!

Mars, I didn't know that your daughter was getting married! Cool. My daughter that is having the baby, is engaged. Well they have been living together for well almost 3 years now, and just became engaged last spring. They didn't want to wait to try to have a child though, so that is coming first. But we went wedding dress hunting this past summer. I was in awe when she put the wedding dresses on though. I never had that experience, as mine was made by my MIL, so to me it was really amazing. Amanda was the same way too, she had previously tried on just 3 dresses with her sister and one of her friends, but she knew it was the first one she tried on. So even though her wedding isn't going to be till most likely April, 2007, she had to have that dress. It is also strapless, and to see your daughter in THE dress is enough to bring tears to your eyes. But to see your grand daughter in the dress that makes her look like a little princess, well, that is more then special. Amanda is having her little neice as a flower girl, and since I am making the dresses, we are going to make a little matching one for her little sister, who should be a little over 2 by then. AND if Amanda has a little girl next summer, we will just HAVE to make a little matching dress for her. If its a boy, well then it will have to be a little tux. Whatever she has its going to be pretty amazing. Keep sending the pictures. I have enrolled in the image shack, but I still haven't figured out what I am doing wrong. I have tried to put some pictures in my posts, but it never happens. What are you doing that transfers the pictures to here???
You have a busy time coming up this spring, with all the wedding prep. I will look forward to hearing all about what the plans are, knowing that I will be going in the same direction the following spring.

It is exciting planning the wedding. She is getting married June 24th and they are both excited. Bryce (g'son who is 5) is also excited. They have been living together for awhile now and she refuses to have any more kids until they're married (unless an "accident" happens!) I don't think either would mind though. The dress would definately be out if that happens unless its early in the pregnancy or they wait to get married after. We'll just wait and see! I think I'm ready for another grandbaby! Of course, that's easy for me to say......they can go home!!!!!
I'd love to see the pictures of the dresses (or tux) when you're finished!
