How I survived a traveling vacation

Post by coryhub »

Hello Everyone,

I want to share how well I survived my traveling/vacation. It's three years into my colitis life and I'm getting wiser.
I took one Entocort pill a day while I was gone (for two weeks). I stuck to my diet as best I could. Everything went well. Upon arriving home, I stopped taking the Entocort (cold turkey, no taper down), I had no side-effects and it's a week later and I'm still feeling good.
Maybe my experience might help someone else. It's good to be back on the board!

Best,
Cory

Glad you had a good vacation. Did you take food with you?

Wow Cory, thanks. It will help me. I never thought about using my Entocort in that way, although I do manipulate my Amitriptyline. My husband was just asking me yesterday where we should go for fun. Now I have another tool to use.

thanks
Carol

So happy it worked for you and that you had a good vacation. Definitely a tip for those who can use Entocort.

Love, Maggie
