U ALL HAVE TO READ THIS!!!!!

Post by barbaranoela »

See, U didnt read my post about my car DYING  yesterday---and it being towed to the BUICK dealer---needing a new BATTERY!!!

TODAY--Lou went out and decided to give the car a *run* and guess what??? GETTING CLOSER--  the lights are dimming and etc. sooooooo in he drives BACK to the dealer and the car needs a NEW ALTERNATOR!!!

Strange things happen to keep one in place--good thing we didnt take off and I am  :banned: and much MORE---hahaha

So they drove him home and I think BUICK should give ME a freebee car---
If one is going to WISH might as well be BIG!!

I said to Lou so what else can fall apart ---I think we got a royal screwing with the sales pitch on this car!!!

I can't believe it.

They should have done a thorough check knowing that you were hitting the road for a long trip. To determine the battery without checking the alternator is an absolutely stupid thing to do. Take this from a former speed shop mechanic. ME

God does work in mysterious ways.

Barbara,
Who knows..........I believe there is a reason you were help up.........perhaps so you and Lou wouldn't be in the "wrong" place at the "right" time. In other words, I believe God works in our lives and often saves them without our ever knowing.

Well, Barb, you are having quite a time trying to get away??? But it is better for you to have the trouble now then while on the road. I remember when I was first married and we were taking a road trip with my MIL and my two young SIL's, we were going to another province, it was well over a thousand miles one way. We at the time had a boat for a car, an old crysler, V8. My husband was always a pessimist, and I the optimist, anyway, he was sure that the car might break down on our way, and believe me on some of the highways we took, there was NOTHING but wolfs and moose, and back then we had never heard of a cell phone, but I kept telling him, if we are going to have car trouble we wouldn't have it till we got there. And that is exactly what happened, we pulled into our hotel in Winnepeg, Manitoba and our altenater blew. But since we didn't need the car much during the week we were there, it didn't hurt us (except our pocket books) in the least. Now, I would never even set out on a trip like that without knowing that I was driving a totally trouble free vehicle. When you are young, you always think it will never happen to you. On our honeymoon if you could call it that, it was raining outside, so I had to keep my feet up on the seat, or they would get soaken wet!!!
And how we found out that there were some holes in the floor board was when we decided to take a road trip (over 400 hundred miles one way) with both my brothers and again it was raining outside and when we hit a a huge puddle my brother in the back seat got splashed, and let out a yelp. Well, it was pretty funny at the time, but I suppose you had to be there. Back then everything was an adventure, now we like the safe sure way of getting somewhere and would never think of driving a less then safe vehicle. Any Hoo, hope you have a safe trip, and will be speaking to you shortly once you get there.

I talk allot don't I? Its mostly because Pebbles is not a good conversationalist, so once I get an adult around, even if it is on here, I go on and on and on. What can I say???

Gentle hugs
Wendy
