thank God for service stations
Feeling a bit iffy today. Slept til four am then deluge started again with quite a bit of pain. Still have belly ache so this flare is not over yet. Think I may need to see about finding another GI doc. It will not be easy to replace my former doc who has treated me for nearly 30 years. Can not understand why he would prefer going sailing to mucking around with people's bowels. Am seeing my surgeon next Tuesday so see what he says.
Got through the trip up to see Graham yesterday without too much trouble (thank God for service stations on the highway) Did not need to resort to 'thunderboxes' in rest areas either.
So glad we went & will have to go again soon. He was so happy to see us & his wife Jos said he was quite excited yesterday morning that Robert was coming. He is in some pain still although he does not want to let on. Has a very positive outlook but is very frustrated with his limitations. He is finding it very hard, having been a very active man to just sit & contemplate his navel.
Love

Bummer your still having problems, Liz! Hope it subsides soon!
As for the spider - that is one of my phobia's - a spider coming out of the toilet and bitting me arse! LOL Must be from living in Arizona with the HUGE water bugs that frequented the potty room! UUUGggggg
Hugs to ya that you get well SOON!
Love,
Mars

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
