If it's going to work for you, you should notice some improvement within 2 to 4 weeks, but occasionally it takes longer, and some people see results sooner. We all respond somewhat differently to the various meds used to treat this disease.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

It didn't help me. After I went GF, my D returned and it made my hair fall out.

It slowed my D down but didn't take it away completely. I had to also go entercort which then helped tremendously. I gained a lot of weight on it, but need it because I had lost so much when I first got sick.

Good luck,
Robin

It sure didn't work for me and the doc had me up to 16 tabs per day. Entocort worked but I had some really bad side effects from it. Diet is trying to do it for me.

Love, Maggie
