Thanks Marliss. I have gotten a lot of good information from everyone on this site but I've never posted before. I'm going to start though because I'm to the point where my family and friends, even though very supportive, don't understand as well as you all do!

My first colonoscopy I had polyps that were removed. Five years later I had my second colonoscopy and more polyps that were removed. I was just told they were the precancerous type. Now I'm on the three year rotation. I've started taking a vit d supplement so it will be interesting what is found next year. I don't have my numbers but am interested in what they may be.

Wow - with all of you fellow MC'ers having had polyps, I'm now curious about whether we are more predisposed than the general population. In my mind, I used to think that with all the WD constantly "flushing" the intestines, it would be difficult for anything to "grow". Obviously that "hopeful" theory is out the window :(. Anyhow, thanks all for responding.

Christy - welcome to our internet family. Glad you decided to post, and curious about your "journey" with MC so far. I can totally relate to how difficult it is to vent with friends and family. Being part of this PP family allows us a wonderful outlet for sharing news, both good and bad. Look forward to your participation on the board :).

Love,
Kari
