Polly, thanks so much for your detailed response.

I did do the MRT because I was going crazy because I was not getting results, and cut out a lot of stuff as a result eg celery (red), sweet potatoes (high yellow)

I have been eating modified paleo for months now. My modification is oats, to which I have no reaction. The only baking I do is the oat cakes I eat for breakfast with pecan butter (home made). I am sick of making them.
I don't make muffins because I am not eating eggs, even in baking, which I seemed to be tolerating, though I don't think I have had even one period of real healing. There is always mucous in whatever BM I have from D though C.

Right now I am ONLY eating grass fed lamb as a meat, a little potato (trying not to because of paleo)coconut, lemon, well cooked spinach, squash, oats, vanilla. That's it. So I have oat cakes with pecan butter for breakfast, lamb squash, spinach, coconut lemon ice cream for desert. If I am hungry again at any time it's more oat cakes with or without pecan butter, and some potato chips.
Those foods are all sanctioned by Enterolab and the MRT.
NO processed foods at all. None! Nada! Zip! Zilch! and no dairy. The "buttermilk" is coconut milk with a tsp of lemon juice.

I did try the histamin blockers, but they make no difference. I am willing to try again.

I honestly don't know what to do next.

Lesley, that makes two of us.

I'm thinking meds now. Hope to talk to my doctor tomorrow. I had DH drop off a copy of my latest EnteroLab test results at her office. I also copied Bob's post re prednisone then Entocort and info about Tex's book........

I am wondering if meds would mess up any Great American Gut testing. Would it show MAP (as Connie suspects)?

Lesley,

Have you tried going without Oats for a period of time? I was under the impression that oats could be cross contaminated in their processing.

Donna,
I ONLY buy gluten free oats, and my tests showed no reaction to oats. Even so I didn't eat oats for a long time, but there is very little that I can eat.

Joan - I told you what I would do in your position. Hugs!

FWIW Joan, I was thinking it may be time for drugs for you, too. We've been at this for way too long, haven't we?
