Lesley, isn't that the worst? I thought I was doing great with almost no meat and lots of soy to replace it. No wonder everytime I ate I got a stomach ache and fatigue. It's been primarily meat and veggies for me and I can notice the difference although it took a while to stop feeling angry and cheated out of all the other foods.

Yes, the price of the Entero Lab testing is worth it! Yes, you can try an elimination diet yourself, but let me tell you my experience with that! I was on an elimination diet for about three months. I expected it to tell me definitively not to eat this or that, and that other things would be ok to eat. I learned nothing. Why? Because all the elimination diet guidelines allowed rice as a safe food. It is also one of my favorite foods. So I was eating rice daily. When I had the tests run by Entero Lab, what was one of my most severe sensitivities after gluten???? You got it, rice!!!!! No wonder the elimination diet didn't work for me. I finally lost patience and decided to spend the money rather than waste another three months!

Yes it was worth the money. I was gluten and dairy free for 10 months and off the Entocort for 2 months when I did the test. I was staying away from soy but not completely. I started a down hill slide and ordered the test before starting Entocort again. I was shocked after being gluten & dairy free it still showed up. The big surprise was eggs and soy. I was eating boiled eggs at least 5 days a week. I seem to be one of those people that need to maintain a low dose of Entocort hopefully one day I can completely stop taking it.

Good Luck!!!
