Need Advice regarding the Enterolab Panel C

Post by mcnomore »

I ordered the test last week, but I haven't eaten corn, cashews, almonds or walnuts in years, but would like to eat them at some point.

My question is this, would it work for me to eat a couple of eat nuts and some form of corn before doing the test? Is that enough to produce reliable results?

Thanks

Hi - I see we both ordered the panel C from Enterolab on the same day. Did you ever do the panel A? I did that a couple months ago (I think that's the time frame).

Sorry I am not knowledgeable enough to answer your question, but I am sure someone else with chime in and have an answer for you.

Good to meet you!

If you haven't eaten those foods at all in several years, then yes, IMO it should definitely improve your chances of detecting a sensitivity to them if you eat them daily for approximately a week, before catching a sample.

I agree with Tex. I have the same problem because I only eat a few of the foods they test. I already know that I don't tolerate the foods I've eliminated, so I won't risk eating them to find out the results. Since the results are given as an average of the groups, a zero reaction for a food would bring down the average score considerably.

I thought I read here that Enterolab will soon be offering individual tests for the food panels. If so, I'll wait until then and order tests for the foods I presently eat.
