Hello everyone,
Hope you all keping well. I think I have found one main trigger for my mc, lemon flavoured foods, I have had a couple of lemon puff biscuits the other day within about a hour I had a urgent run to the loo. So last night I tried again, again same thing happened. I know that if I eat lemon curd my mouth gets all lumps and bumps.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Thinking back, my mother could never eat lemon curd, it used to make her feel unwell.

Ian,
It may be the citric acid. Many of us can't handle citric acid until after we are in stable remission. Even tomatoes can cause that problem for many of us.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

It is always good when you find the niggling culprit......
Post mc, it is like our body chemistry changes, things that were ok, are no longer ok.
It's just the way it is...
Hope you are feeling well with minimal symptoms....
Take care.
