It is a shame that she focused just on celiac, no mention of non celiac gluten intolerance which is probably increasing at the same rate.....

Yes, I agree about that. U. Chicago Celiac Center had a really low guesstimate on NCGS. However, found something by Dr. Fasano which refuted that and posted it.

"Jacqueline - I read this and do not agree with anything he said I did feedback on this to him.. it really annoys me that they put this stuff out there. really if I was just diagnosed with celiac and read this I would be suicidal. I think that more research needs to be done on this before all these assumptions are made.

Jacqueline - well waiting for an e mail back re this. since this is brand new to the united states all of this is speculation and obviously not facts... even though I was diagnosed around 50 years ago... I have not had any problems and am not on permanent meds for anything... so of course I find this strange that all of a sudden they are pin pointing all these other problems to celiac... I have never heard of this. so I think by posting all of this speculation this is freaking people out. and to me thats not right."

Ruth Ann "Jacqueline, I just read your comments and then read the article wondering what in the world had been posted. I think everything I read is right on with tons of research I have read. I am confused about what part is speculation and what you were referring to as new to the us??? I would love to help clear this up but am confused about what you meant."

Lots of silence from Jacqueline.
