antiinflamatorys
Hello again after a long break, I am pleased to say I am still in remission, I have to be very careful with my diet but haven't had the dreadful DDDDDDDD for a year or more, I realize I am very lucky so far. I have hypermobile joints and whilst this was good fun when I was young I am beginning to suffer now with osteo arthritis, given antinflamatories are a no no for MC can anyone advise, both tramadol and codine make it difficult to work, I get sleepy, any ideas??????????? think of you guys out there often and know I would not be where I am now without your help, Beni
Hi Beni,
It's good to hear that you MC symptoms are still under control. Have you been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS)?
I can't remember if you are avoiding all dairy products. The protein casein, which is in all dairy products, is known to cause osteoarthritis symptoms for many people. I had that problem myself, until I removed dairy from my diet. Dairy didn't cause any GI problems, but it did cause me to have osteoarthritis.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
