If it wasn't bad enough that I had a flare up on Thanksgiving, now I'm a wreck because my one surviving cat is sick. I had take her to the ER last night because she couldn't urinate and small blood clots were coming out. She was crying in pain and was breathing with her mouth open. They says she's got another bladder infection. X-ray showed no stones. She's currently curled up under a table and doesn't want to be touched. I had to rouster to give her some medicine this morning and she just crawled back to her spot and laid down slowly. I feel so helpless. It physically makes me ill to see her suffering. I want to help her but I don't know what else to do. Last time she had a bladder infection, she didn't quite act like this. I'm on pins and needles watching her and I know my gut is going to start acting up again any minute.

I'm so sorry, Melissa. It's a heartbreaking situation to be in. I'm like you...can't stand to see a pet/any animal suffer like that.
I really hope the medicine makes her feel better soon and I hope it will get rid of the infection for good.
I'm really sorry.
Love, Shirley

I'm so sorry, it is hard to watch them hurt, isn't it! Did they send you home with any pain killers? Can cats take aspirin, like dogs can?
