Hiya Tex,
I don't know if you have seen this, but I thought of you immediately:
http://www.facebook.com/l/8AQEwpVsjAQES ... rt-disease
It seems that mainstream docs are finally becoming aware of the REAL cause of heart disease. I agree 100 % with the article, except that I would have emphasized more that grains in bread/pasta/etc. act exactly like pure sugar in the bloodstream.
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
Hi Polly,
Actually, I have seen either that article, or a similar one on another site, but I don't recall where I saw it. It couldn't have been on FB, because one of my goals in life is to remain a non-member. LOL.
I never cease to be amazed at how many incorrect assumptions about diet and it's effects on health continue to be passed off as truth. It's as though everything is chiseled in stone, so correcting it is not an option.
Thanks for the link.
Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Polly thank you for posting this, finally a morsel of truth. Inflammation by whatever means is the real culprit and finally a doc realizes this and has made a stand as to what the truth is.
Simply put eliminating the foods that cause inflammation such as gluten can and will improve our health.
