I called Purity Farms to ask them whether their ghee is gluten-free and they said there could be cross-contamination.
I think I've been reacting to Purity Ghee so now I'm looking for gluten-free ghee or gluten-free lard.
Does anyone use lard rather than ghee or butter?

I use coconut oil or saved drippings from cooking uncured bacon. The bacon fat adds great flavor to food and resists high temperature cooking. I have also made my own ghee (clarified butter), by slowly heating organic butter until the milk solids rise to the top and I scoop them off.
