What's happening to me?
Hi everyone hope you are all coping.
On the 1st of July I went to have the camera down, it all went well but still waiting to see the GI bloke (28th Aug). Since I had the procedure done I have calmed right down, no bloating, no gas, normal bm's. I am just wondering if it ias possible that the last time I had one of these done, did they leave something inside of me, is it possible?
I really feel great, not 100% but in charge of my body again

Ian,
Maybe your digestive system is just overjoyed to be the star of it's own video show. LOL.
Did you do a cleanout procedure before swallowing the camera? Sometimes a shock to an unstable system can induce stability (and vice versa). It's difficult to visualize how the camera itself could have influenced your intestinal behaviour.
Maybe it was just a coincidence, and you just happen to be one of those lucky individuals who occasionally have an episode of spontaneous remission.
Whatever the case, enjoy it while it lasts, because one can never predict how long spontaneous remissions may remain in effect. It will be interesting to see if they learned anything from the video recording.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Hi Tex, Hope you are well.
I didn't do a clean out, just had nothing to eat from 10pm the previous day (had exam at 11am) the next day, so nothing odd there as I often go a full day without eating. I have also noticed I always feel hungry now, basically I can't get full lol.
What I'm wondering is, I have been told I have to gain/maintain my weight, lost half a stone in two months so the dietician give me some suggestions to increase my calorie intake, one of these suggestions was fruit smoothie made with fruit, bio yoghurt and full cream milk, I have been having either one or two of these daily, just wondering if the yoghurt has calmed things down. Whatever has happened I hope it continues!

It's certainly possible that the probiotic bacteria in the yoghurt may be helping to settle down your digestive system. Whatever is responsible, I hope it continues to work.
Keep us posted.

Ha! Tex, you crack me up sometimes. From the deep South, and you spelled "behavior" with a "u" and "yogurt" with an "h" because Ian is from the UK.
Ian, your story reminded me of the joke about the parrot which used so much foul language that its owner threw it in the freezer. It got real quiet, and he thought he had killed it. When he opened the freezer to check, the parrot pointed at the frozen chicken and said, "What did he do?" Maybe your gut was scared straight.

Hi everyone,
Well something has gone wrong I've got a lot of gas and abdo pain, after been ok for a while. I think I know what's happened though. At the weekend I had a indian takeaway - prawn cocktail then rogan josh, big mistake! So I'm thinking it was the lemon segment in the cocktail or the tomato in the meal has upset the apple cart, hopefully I can get back on track soon.

Ian,
I realize you didn't do a clean out, but I thought I'd mention that I enjoyed several weeks, maybe months, of "spontaneous remission" after my colonoscopy and barium swallow exams. I figured it cleaned out all the bad bacteria temporarily.
