Gurgling tummy--what causes it?

Hi all,

I am going through a flare-up, some days better than others, today not so good. I hope this doesn't sound silly, but I wonder, on bad days, what the connection is between MC and gurgling tummy. On better days, I might have D but my tummy is fairly settled, but on days like today, very soon after eating my tummy feels and sounds like a gurgling and swishing washing machine.

What is, in simple terms, going on? And how is this connected to MC (and chronic D)?

YES, I remember some insane gurgling at first....... Did you do a PP search?
