Haha, 38-62 degrees in wisconsin elicits shorts and t-shirts. Never for me though. I routinely pack long johns and a swimsuit in the same bag when we "go up north" to our cottage. It's in the high 80's now and humid- it's awful.

This topic caught my attention. My son is now 21. Since he was a toddler, I have noticed a connection between food and his mood. If any of us notices he is crabby, we just remind him to eat. His mood changes within minutes. When I mentioned this to his pediatrician years ago, he told me that there couldn't a physical reason for this. My family and I know differently, and this may be the explanation. I'm sure he has food sensitivities; my daughter and I may finally be convincing him to get tested.

Hi Sheila,

The salmon packs I get are from Publix, gold and red pouch, Bumble Bee wild salmon, this is the only one that I can find at Publix that does not have soy in it. Also....can you eat sardines?
Perhaps they might be another option for you. The ones with the peel off lids are convenient. I'm thinking of taking a couple of tins.

You brought up a good point about storage of paleo mini muffins. Typically on business travel if my room does not have a fridge I'll nest my ziplock bag of paleo mini muffins in ice bucket. They seem to be ok that way for 3 days. With fridge I've gone 6 business days in fridge and they were still ok. It could get sketchy after that.

Have fun on your trip! Brandy
