One daughter has celiac, the other is gluten intolerant. They just published a cookbook.
I hope they get a show on the air!
JL: I would love to see a gluten-free food program on television, be it a cooking program or a travel program. It’s time. That’s my dream, to be part of putting gluten-free food on the map and on TV. Plus, I think we might know someone who could offer a bit of advice on that.
Thanks for the link. I think the Today Show should give them a spot and have Hoda & Kathy Lee do the interview. I know I'm mean. If they have apologized for making fun of people that have gluten issues, I am not aware of it.
I love when famous celebrities/personalities talk about their gluten-free existence in the media. It makes things better for all of us. It gives us a voice, educates the public, and brings better awareness.
Some days, I wish I was celiac because my LC is so much more restrictive. Most Gluten-free recipes I have to leave out half the ingredients. Usually the things that spice it up. There are so many things I love but don't dare eat. A gluten-free cooking show might frustrate me with all it's ingredients I can't digest. Friends keep serving me quinoa dishes lately and I have to tell them, yes it's gluten-free, but I can't tolerate it. Things are getting better though as I learn more things I can eat.

I've always wanted to see an Iron Chef competition, where instead of a secret ingredient, there is a secret group of ingredients they can't use! Gluten, dairy, soy, etc. it would be awesome to see what famous chefs come up with on the fly.
Cory, I agree. I don't even look at the GF aisle at the store anymore. It's too frustrating to find something GF and then Reagan the label and find three other ingredients that make it off limits.
