Hope I am not pushing my luck!

Post by Vandolyn »

I have LC diagnosed in 2008 but probably had it starting in 2004. I found Tex's book in December last year and immediately ordered Enterolab. The results came back in early January with gluten intolerance. I immediately went gluten free with the D continuing. Thanks to this forum, I figured out the fresh fruits and vegetables were the problem. Within two days of stopping the fresh fruits and vegetables, the D stopped.

About three weeks ago, I decided to eat a dill pickle. No D! Then about a week later, I tried the cantaloupe - just two pieces. No D! Now this week, I have eaten green grapes. No D! Think I will slow down for awhile. Anyone besides this group would read this and think I was totally crazy. You just miss those things so much.

Deb, I am thrilled to see that you are doing well after your surgery. Bless you in your recovery.

Tex and everyone - I thank you for this place to learn so much about this disease. I would still be fighting the D if not for the book and this forum.

Hi Vandolyn,

Few things in life are as enjoyable as reading a success story such as yours.

Thank you for the kind words, and for taking the time to write such a helpful update. I hope your remission lasts forever.
