bloat. Push the brace. Wow it's uncomfortable. Lots of sound and fury. And then some. Nothing else so far.
Pain? Stress? Not food. I don't think I ate anything that could do this. I am not taking pain meds. Is it worth toughing it out when this is happening in spite of?

Extra pressure on a bloated gut is not good — there has to be adequate room or it can even interfere with breathing, by restricting diaphragm function. If you don't have enough adjustment available, you may need a larger size, to allow for the bloating.
