Question

Post by humbird753 »

Hi everyone,

The office I work in was closed yesterday due to construction (on the roof). The job isn't finished, but we are back to work today.

I don't know all the details of the roof, but do know they have used a "glue" in addition to the rubber roof they're putting on.

The fumes of the glue are VERY strong today. Typically I wouldn't think twice about it, but now having MC and knowing glue contains gluten I am wondering how safe it is to be breathing in the fumes.

Does anyone know if fumes would affect us the same way as when we consume gluten?

Any responses appreciated.

I'm pretty certain the fumes would not contain gluten, but they probably contain some potent toxic chemicals and VOCs! If they make you feel ill at all, I would leave.
