As many of you know, my sister in Norway has been struggling with cancer for quite a while. I think I mentioned somewhere that she and my niece had planned to come and spend the month of July with me, but had to cancel since my sister suffered a stroke. Fast forward to today, she has had 2 more strokes since then, and is now in critical condition.
My niece and nephew called me 2 days ago and said I needed to come if I wanted a chance to say goodbye to her. So tomorrow morning I'm heading to Norway. Would appreciate your prayers and wishes that I will get there in time to say goodbye and she may pass peacefully.

Kari I am so sorry very to hear of these events within your family, certainly you have my prayers and best of wishes for a safe trip and that you are able to be healthy as you go through this time with your family.

OH MY DEAR HOW I FEEL FOR YOU.
MY DEAR SISTER ALSO HAD A STROKE AND PASSED AWAY 2 MONTHS AGO.
SHE LIVED IN CARDIFF WALES, AS DO MY OTHER SISTER,
IT IS SO HEART BREAKING AS SHE IS THE FIRST OF US TO GO.
MY ONE CONSOLATION IS THIS EVEN THOUGH WE ALWAYS SPOKE EVERY WEEK,
I NOW FEEL YES SHE IS STILL THERE, I REFER TO HER ALWAYS AND MY OTHER SISTER
DO,WE TALK OF HER AS THOUGH SHE IS THERE.
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
My love and prayers go with you and may your sister improve. I know what it is like to lose a sister no matter how far away and it really is so sad. May you travel safe and make it in time.
