Curcumin has been good to me. I've been taking it for a few years and while I'm not sure if it helped improve my MC much, it did brighten my mood I thought. It also makes my hair shinny and bright, along with clear skin - at least at times when I'm well to the stomach.
I recall that Dr. Cannell of the Vitamin D Council had an interesting write up about curcumin. He speculated that the spice can mimic vitamin D3.
